Lots of small brawls throughout the day, in an entertaining game despite the gail force wind.
Lots to say about this game (later). To hold them out in the final quarter against the wind was a good effort from Port, but Werribee really looked like they could overrun Port, especially in the third quarter, with some good movement of the footy.
Always in for a fight when you take on Werribee at home, so pretty happy with the result. Bendigo next week!
Port squandered some great opportunities in front of goals, as you will see when (hopefully) coverage of the game comes up during the week. I heard CaseyFM on the way to the ground and post-match. Very enjoyable coverage!
Hopefully David Pitts knee injury is only minor, and the crutches were just a precaution.
