St Kilda Saint Will Johnson sorry for fan abuse
A ST Kilda player has apologised for mouthing off at a Collingwood fan during a VFL match on Saturday. Will Johnson, a 21-year-old Saint recruited from Sandringham, apologised personally to the fan this morning. “I am really sorry for the comment I made on Saturday,†he said in a statement. “I understand that it is unacceptable to respond to taunts from the crowd, under any circumstances.†The club has sanctioned Johnson for the outburst, which took place during the Zebras v Collingwood match at Victoria Park.
