While dissapointing, it was easy to understand Box Hills loss to Bendigo. With Roughead, Taylor and Lewis, all in our best last week and important structually, moved up to the AFL, and Bendigo having a near AFL forward line including Dean Rioli, Cupido, Lovett-Murray and Ben Haynes, we did alright to get where we did. Could have been much worse had their guns really fired. Good to see a big crowd in, hope Batchelor gets a game next week, he was great last year and unlucky to start off in the ressies. Cam Howat is looking really good, not as skinny as last year, and interesting to see Harvey playing on the wing in the last quarter and doing alright. I had him pinned as a one position player, in the goal square.
We'll be alright, looking forward to next week, there might be more ex-Mustangs in Springy's team than what we have in ours! Might be a few out to impress against their old side.
