Western Jets Coach 2008
The Western Jets are pleased to announce the appointment of Steven Kretiuk as U18 coach for the 2008 TAC cup season. Steven has a long and distinguished football background having come up through the old U19 system before going on to play with Footscray/Western Bulldogs. Steven played 170 games for the Bulldogs from which he achieved 13 finals appearances.
Since retiring from AFL football in 2003, Steven has continued his involvement in football with the Werribee Football Club in the VFL. He was a playing assistant coach in 2004, then a senior assistant in 2005 before becoming reserves/development coach and the senior forwards coach for the past two seasons.
Steve has a strong background of Western suburbs football having played his junior football at the St Albans Football Club.
