Here, tonight I start my campaign for the VFL Record to do a feature article on the famous Werribee Doctor...
He'd have to be one of the larger than life characters of the VFL. For years, the doc has stood on the boundary, with the long coat on, not only looking after his players but getting into the game as a passionate Werribee supporter.
When the crowd are abusing his players, it's the doc who turns around and gives it back. When the umpire misses a free kick, it's the doc who points it out to the men in orange.
After losing his dacks earlier in the year and becoming a Youtube hit, it's time that the VFL Record gave "The Doc" the attention he deserves!
