Very happy to get the 4 points. Always a tough assignment down at Avalon Oval as Then Borough always seem to struggle at the ground.
The weather and crowd was good and the game was pretty tight throughout.
For Port I thought Waddell really stood out. Speaking to Boroughburger at the game the 23rd player it's going to be tough to choose who will get that spot in finals as Sinclair also shone earlier in the season. It might come down to team balance on the day.
I thought Port didn't apply enough defensive pressure with far too many uncontested marks from Werribee linking up passages of play.
