* It's time to restore the VFA name.
What an absolute nail-biter tonight. Think my heart was ready to give out for most of that 4th quarter.
Hugely disappointing performance and result from the Borough.
We have issues and I think that the two week break comes at a bad time.
Credit to Frankston who, despite their inaccuracy, looked the better side.
* It's time to restore the VFA name.
I think Port's forward line is a real worry. We don't look dangerous enough and the ball comes out far too easily. Tricky conditions with the wind, but I think we have real problems.

Entertaining game in tough conditions. Dolphs a little more class and polished than Port, who look very rough around the edges. Interestingly, Port won nearly every team stat. Couple of those Port guys look like they can really play - Polkinghorne and Lloyd especially. Noah was good and Ollie Moran excellent game. Can see Will Hamill dominating the comp - all class.
Great effort Burgers to get within 3 points of Southport. Expect a great year for them.
Willy v Frankston next week should be a ripper.
A weeks a long time In football, after being moderately happy with the performance last week I feel last night was inexcusable. Frankston did play well and was able to spread the ball across the whole ground with a few very quick and dangerous players who I can see will be a handful for opposition teams. With scoring a massive 20 behinds which includes frankston outscorung port from half way through the second with 17 behinds straight v 2 goals 4 and at least 3 posts Port Melbourne can consider themselves fortunate we didn't lose by a bigger margin. I feel that the back line is OK but like the last few seasons we aren't getting enough bang for our buck inside 50 and whilst positivity was around the club thinking the times are changing after last night I fear it could be another long and frustrating season with a lack of cohesion and several skill errors which shouldnt be there at this level prediminantly incorrect disposal and marking.
I know certain Port fans only want positivity but let's be honest and not kid ourselves, a good Frankston beat a Port who wasn't ready to step up to the plate - maybe the 2 week break is exactly what we need. The only positive was a decent crowd on a well organised night.

Has anyone tried watching the replay on 7plus? I'm trying to watch it right now and it freezes and buffers every 5-10 seconds.
Watched it this morning with no issues
