Volunteers night at Sandy last night..
Outgoing Coaches Andy Lovell and Jeremy Barnard both spoke about their time at Sandy...they will both be missed
Then Brett Lovetts off sider Dick Custerton spoke..he has know Brett Lovett for quite some time and is looking forward to his involvement at Sandy
Then our new coach said a few words...Interesting that he initially knocked the job back but then changed his mind and accepted the position.
He spoke about his initial hesitation about the job mainly due to the alignment factor..but he had a long talk with Ross Lyon and those issues have been resolved.
He admitted to being much more at ease being amongst the players than speaking with a microphone ....but I thought he spoke very well...only mentioned Frankston twice!!..
The whole mood in the room was extremely positive after he spoke
