Interesting little bit in yesterday's Herald Sun:
A couple of AFL clubs are dumbfounded with the antics of a high ranking local government official whom they suspect of posting some inflammatory comments on club websites. They also claim the person has leaked confidential information. One club reckons it can reveal the person's identity and, if so, believes he'll have a case to answer.
I wonder who it could be?
The alledged rumours indicate someone may have been using fan forums to lobby for and drive home the benefits of an alignment between an AFL club and a local council, perhaps in a growth corridor of Melbourne. But those negotiations have been long and drawn out. And perhaps they'll be even more so given these latest developments.

I've said before that I'm anti local government, I think they're a waste of space. Good to see they're busy isn't it?
