I've made a decision. I will be referring to the comp as the VFA all of next season and beyond :)
With Coburg and Williamstown re-joining as true independent clubs once again... as well as former VFA clubs Richmond and Footscray (almost certainly playing as Footscray if the vote and feedback on the Doggies website and FB are anything to go by) fielding teams, it's time to restore the competition's name.
So I encourage you at every opportunity to slot the VFA name back in when referring the comp.
