The whole thing seems a bit of a joke really. Flip open todays paper and 6 of the 8 teams have named benches with 12 players. In other words, a squad of 30 players.
Werribee, who play Sunday, have named two players who are named in the Western Bulldogs starting 22 for tonights game.
Surely something better can be done about this. Even if the VFL update the squads to 22 players on a Friday night through their website, but it just seems a bit of a mess to me. This week moreso than any other week of the season as the mind games appear to have started up.
The other thing, is it just me or would people like to see Reserves squads for finals published as well?
