Watch the ABC1 at 8.30pm there is a good Aussie rules telemovie that goes for 100 minutes. Based on a fictional club in Rushworth, a trouble no hoper Ben Valentine is called to play for the local team. They must not be relegated or they will merge with the rival Lucan.
I actually was part of an extra, coach of Lucan. CU B who is also on the vfl forum is a player for LUCAN. Pat who is the infamous North Melbourne supporter who goes to many vfl matches might also be spotted as an extra.
Terry Norris from Cop Shop fame is the president of Rushworth.
You'll recognize an actor from Chopper and a guy who did the 3 for free commercial.
This telemovie is worth a look.
