Good gutsy win by the Scorpions, in a game marred by strong winds. This was a shocking spectacle, with the blustery breeze creating lots of problems for both sides.
The final quarter saw the vales kick an early goal to set up their narrow lead, with goals coming later from a nice snap, a set shot, and a running goal. Rudd snuck one through for Port, but several other chances went begging. The Scorpions ending their association with the ground posting a good win.
