WILLIAMSTOWN is bound for glory after claiming yet another minor premiership with an emphatic 94-point win over highly fancied Box Hill at Box Hill City Oval yesterday.
But it is September that will be the Seagulls' biggest hurdle after they were bundled out in straight sets last year.
It appears as if this year's premiership will come from the top four - Williamstown, North Ballarat, Port Melbourne and Casey - after the Seagulls put an end to a seven-game winning streak for the fifth-placed Hawks with an exemplary display from some of their most seasoned performers.
Brett Johnson and Cameron Lockwood relished the muddy conditions, Patrick Rose was on song in the midfield and up forward, while former Box Hill defender and now Western Bulldogs rookie Lukas Markovic stood tall in defence.
