I read in Inside Footy that there will be an Under 22 game again this year (same as the curtain raiser match to the state game last year). This year it will be played during the week leading into the AFL Grand Final (same day as the TAC Cup vs. Allies match) which will give selectors/coaches a full year to assess players.
What are everyone's thoughts on the concept of the game?? Should it be played anually?? Should it replace the state game?? Anyone willing to throw up some potential names for this year even though it's early in the season??
