RICHMOND'S uneasy relationship with its VFL partner Coburg is at breaking point with the Tigers becoming increasingly alarmed at the flow-on effect of the aligned club's perilous financial position.
Determined to establish its own VFL team, which could play regular home games at Punt Road from the start of 2014, Richmond could bring forward a stand-alone seconds side with Coburg struggling to meet the conditions of its licence agreement.

BENDIGO turned in a gold-standard effort to put a stop to Box Hill's hopes of adding to its VFL winning streak at City Oval.
It took the Hawks 11 rounds to notch consecutive wins, but the Gold made sure it wouldn't be three-on-the-trot, pushing past the home side on the back of a strong second half.

PLAYERS collapsed, fans gasped.
After a crazy last 20 minutes of footy, it was a draw between Frankston and Williamstown on Sunday at Frankston Park.
Scores were knotted on 92 points apiece.
It was the biggest thriller of the season, but those who witnessed it left the ground trying to work out how the heck Frankston didn't win.

BENDIGO made it four wins on the trot with a resounding 32-point victory against Box Hill in the VFL on Saturday.
The Gold took three quarters to gain the upper hand in the match at Box Hill City Oval, but burst away in the final term to win 14.16 (100) to 9.14 (68).
