Curran lines up against Box Hill Hawks at Box Hill.

He has been on the Kangaroos’ long-term injury list.

Curran was North Melbourne’s second selection with pick 40 in last year’s national draft.

IT was supposed to be "off with their heads" for 13 players at the selection table after state training at Blundstone Arena last night, but just too many men are in good form.

So state coach Adam Sanders gave them a stay of execution until Monday, when he will announce a squad culled from the original 38 to 25 for Tasmania's interstate clash with the VFL in Hobart on Saturday week.

THE Frankston Dolphins will undergo a "mini pre-season" before their next game on June 2.

A bye followed by the state game will put the Dolphins' season into recess for three weeks, but players shouldn't expect an easy time of it. Far from it, in fact.
