AFL club chiefs back push for new 14-team reserves competition

Momentum is building towards the creation of a new 14-team AFL eastern seaboard reserves competition that would potentially replace the VFL and NEAFL, according to club chiefs.

At Kars St end of the ground there is going to be a new fence behind the goals installed

Biggest project is the installing of the brand new floodlights having gone past the ground today you can now see the 4 distinct holes where the light towers will be placed around the ground. Looking at completion in mid-Late July hopefully about the time of the season starting.

VFL clubs say they’re ‘hopeful’ of getting a season up

It’s been a long waiting game for VFL clubs but, after meeting with the AFL, they say they’re doing everything they can to get on the ground this year.
