The stingrays starting well kicking the opening 4 goals of the game and holding a 26 pt quarter lead. In the 2nd quarter it was goal for goal in the first 10 mins of the quarter before Dandenong kicked out to a 44pt lead late in the team, Eastern got 2 goals back to trail by 34pts at half time. Then the Eastern fight back happened with Eastern kicking the 6 goals in a row during the 3rd and arly part of the quarters getting them within a goal with about 12 mins to go before Dandeong finally kicked a goal to steady themsleves and ran out winners by 29pts in an entertaining lunchtime clash. Alex Lee starred up forward in his debut for the Stingrays also Barker and Magner were good. Sam Carpenter was good early then faded in the 2nd half. For Eastern Di Mascio and Hayes were their best. Dandenong now with a 6-1 record play NSW/ACT at Shepley Oval at noon on Saturday. Eastern's record fall to 4-3 and they are back at Box Hill next Saturday at 2pm to play Northern Knights.
