After publicly declaring he would not to go to Brisbane under the father-son rule, Oakliegh Charger Marc Murphy today announced that we would be spending the 2006 season at Port Melbourne.
"I'm keen to continue playing with my mates from the Chargers, and to develop my game further against AFL-listed opposition." he said.
The decision was made after confirming that Carlton would be selecting him as their first round draft pick in this years National Draft.
He will re-assess his draft options at the conclusion of the 2006.
