So while the Dolphins may well have improved greatly in their second round match against Sandringham and nearly pinched a victory, for Crowe it isn’t yet good enough. “To be honest we didn’t have enough players carry the load,” he said.

A major redevelopment of Frankston Oval received a significant boost today, with the Brumby Labor Government committing $1.5 million to the community project.

Sports Minister James Merlino joined Member for Frankston Alistair Harkness today to announce the funding, which will benefit the Frankston Dolphins and wider community.

THE season has finished for the Frankston Dolphins, but coach Simon Goosey says the hard work is only just beginning.

Over the next month or so Goosey will chase recruits as he sets about bolstering a young list crying out for an injection of class and experience.

"My job is only just starting," Goosey said.
