REIGNING WAFL premiership coach Simon McPhee will coach Sandringham for the next two years.

In a phone hook-up at lunchtime today Sandy's board ratified St Kilda's move to bring McPhee to Melbourne to replace Brett Lovett.

The 42-year-old will also be involved in the Saints' new development academy.

Essendon Football Club and Bendigo Football Club are delighted to announce the appointment of Hayden Skipworth as Bendigo senior coach for 2012.

Skipworth, who played 44 games for Adelaide and 11 games for Essendon, has held a development role at Essendon since his retirement in 2009.

The 28-year-old said he was looking forward to the opportunity of coaching his own side.

New Dolphins

DETERMINED to strengthen its list, Frankston has secured a couple of good recruits.

Box Hill pair Jackson Sketcher and Leigh Kitchin signed with the Dolphins on Saturday.

The midfielders played in Box Hill’s reserves premiership side this year, Kitchin as captain. Sketcher was a star at TAC Cup level with the Sandringham Dragons, jointly winning the 2010 Morrish Medal with Dyson Heppell.

WERRIBEEÂ’S search for a new coach is entering its climax, with Paul SatterleyÂ’s successor set to be unveiled by the end of this week.
