VFL clubs and leagues will vote next month on an restructure that would put the AFL in charge of Victorian football.
Stakeholders will attend an extraordinary general meeting on March 28 dealing with a new entity, AFL Victoria Ltd.
Former Essendon CEO Peter Jackson will head it.

BRENDAN Fevola has issued an open invitation to VFL clubs to contact him about playing this season.
Fevola, who was sacked by the Brisbane Lions nine days ago, just Tweeted: "Hey guys thanks for all the support. Decided to give footy one more crack. Any VFL clubs who want to talk please contact Velocity Sports."

Bayanda Sobetwa joined Greater Western Sydney in 2010, becoming the first player recruited to Australia from the AFL South Africa program, notionally to an AFL club (although GWS are yet to fully join the AFL). With FootyWILD in many ways the AFL's flagship international program there must also have been a degree of pressure for Sobetwa to perform.

WILLIAMSTOWN might have been crowned minor premiers but it has drawn the shortest straw of all 16 clubs competing in this year's inaugural Champions League.
As revealed by Leader last month, the AFL has confirmed the Seagulls will travel to Perth to tackle Western Australia Football League powerhouse Swan Districts in Round 1 of the knockout competition dubbed the Foxtel Cup.
The April 9 clash at the newly named Patersons Stadium is a curtain-raiser to West Coast's AFL encounter with the Sydney Swans.
Williamstown was sent packing in last year's preliminary final and entered the tournament as the VFL's third-ranked side, behind premier North Ballarat and runner-up Northern Bullants.
