Season 2021 - VFA/VFL/ESSL

2021 memberships.

Hi all, just wondering which clubs even sent out memberships for next year?

I bought a couple of Port Melbourne memberships for family but they didn't arrive in time for Christmas.

I'm hoping the Bullants have a very solid backing from the public and a decent supporter base next year.

The AFL has confirmed that 22 licences have been granted for the second-tier competition to showcase football on the eastern coast from next year.

Historic Victorian club the Northern Bullants will come back from the dead to feature as a standalone team.

Season 2021 - What do we know?

Discussion for what has been announced so far:

* Dispanding of the NEAFL

* Brisbane, Gold Coast, Sydney, GWS AFL sides invited into new competion

* Southport Sharks, Redlands, Canberra Demons, Sydney University, Aspley likely to join

* VFL to be renamed (again) - Possibly as ESSL - Eastern Seaboard State League (Or similar)

* Possible alignments or NEAFL standalone clubs with AFL NEAFL clubs (eg. Gold Coast with Southport Sharks etc)

* Travel costs to be met by AFL

* Tasmania not invited in 2021 despite roadmap
