If you watch the Southern Footy Show this Saturday morning between 9am and 10.30am they will show colour footage of Northcote v Brighton 1948 1st semi. Northcote would have worn green with a gold V. Footage of Brighton is rare as. Also speaking of You Tube it is good to see that there is some old VFA games on there. Phil Cleary has got a few of these on You Tube with the game at Caulfield being one of them. He gives the supporters who gave him a hard time the bird as he had the last laugh with 7 goals. The good old days of VFA.

This week on the Southern Footy show also features an interview with Frosty Miller. With one round to go will Sautner hang on to win the Frosty Miller medal or will Pods kick at least 5 goals ?? I have never seen footage of the old VFA club the Brighton Penguins before. On this week's Southern Footy Show: - Special feature interview with VFA goalkicking legend, Jim 'Frosty' Miller. - Highlights of the Springvale Districts v East Brighton clash. - In the Golden Days of Footy, we feature footage from the 1948 VFA finals series - this week, the 1948 first semi-final, Brighton v Northcote. We believe this rare colour film has never been shown publicly.

I have a thread on another website which is on this very subject. It also has pictures of club uniforms. Here are Port Melbourne's uniforms.
