SOME say James Podsiadly would be still on Richmond's list had it drafted the Geelong captain over Kent Kingsley in the 2006 AFL pre-season draft.

While Kingsley, a former Geelong forward, went on to play three senior matches for the Tigers, Podsiadly, who trained with Richmond in the lead-up to the 2006 draft, has become a lethal weapon in the VFL.

That weapon continued to fire yesterday when Podsiadly booted another six goals from 13 disposals and 11 marks in Geelong's spell-binding 53-point win over Box Hill Hawks at Skilled Stadium, 18.10 (118) to 9.11 (65).

Cats VFL coach Dale Amos said Podsiadly, a former Werribee captain and last year's J. J. Liston Trophy Medal winner, had had a profound impact on the team.
