As far as I can see, I would say the the Dome is done for now in the VFL.
What alternatives does the VFL have?
Where would you like to see the GF played?
What has potential to be built (although most city venues are pretty much developed as big as they can be)
Some of the venues I can see as possibilities (no particular order) are:
- Revamped Port Melbourne
- Vic Park
- Optus Oval
- Punt Road
- Revamped Olympic Park
- Whitten Oval?
- Toorak Park?
- Possible Elsternwick Park with some vision from the VFL and VAFA to make it more suitbable?
Anywhere else?
I understand Arden Street will now have an MCG size oval, I know there is not much room for developments, but whats its capacity?
