Good year for ex VFA clubs
Berwick won premierships in the newly formed SENFL. They won firsts, seconds, thirds (under 19s) and fourths (under 18s). Good article in today's Herald Sun on Page 5.
Mordialloc who won the second Division SFL GF last year came runner up to Dingley in the higher Division. Kilsyth who won only one game from their first five came good and made it to the GF but were not good enough to beat Warrandyte.

Waverley VFA 1965 Premiership Reunion - 16 May, 2015

Waverley Blues are holding a premiership reunion celebrating 50 years since the Waverley Panthers won the Div 1 premiership in 1965 v Port Melbourne.
If interested in attending, please message me and I will provide further details.
If anyone has any Panther memorabilia, we would love to share it with the players in attendance that day including members of the victorious U19 team who also saluted Sunday Sep 26, 1965.
