Centrals starting to run away with, from reports North aren't looking to flash hot, and probably lacking some fresh legs after 3 heavy finals.

Disappointing day from a Roosters perspective. Reminds me of the 89GF when we kicked 2 goals against Port Adelaide. On a positive note, terrific crowd in attendance, as big a crowd as the SANFL GF has attracted for a few years now.

How many straight Grand Finals for the Gowans ? Absolute freaks. They have a great record and Chris Gowans wins a second Jack Oatey medal. Werribee could do with a few of their ex players, Gowans Twins, Ben Hudson, Salim Hassan, James Allan and David Mitchell. Add these players to their list and you would have almost a flag team. Unfortuantely for the Bees they might get Hassan back and that's it from that list. If the dogs recruit Hudson he would be eligible to play for Williamstown but it would be highly unlikely as he would be a regular with the dogs as he is a gun ruckman.
How many straight Grand Finals for the Gowans ?
The Gowans have played in 13 straight Grand Finals. Their first 5 grand finals were losses (3 for Anglesea senior, 1 for Werribee in the VFL and 1 for St Kilda reserves). Since going to Central they have been apart of 6 winning grand finals out of the last 8. Chris became the 1st player to win 2 Jack Oatey Medals and James has won one.
