Having a bit of a ramble while I watch data move from one server to another here at work...
Good to see that the rumours regarding Carlyle were quickly quashed. And plenty of good noises coming out of the Borough for next season. Very much looking forward to Presentation night to see if we have signed up any of possibles coming out of the AFL or Interstate that wish to return or remain in Victoria.
Hopefully the club can attract not just the best from Oakleigh and other kids in the TAC cup looking for a club that will give them opportunities at senior level too.
Some football followers hate the end of the season prior to the National draft, with player de-listings and trade talk. Personally I find it one of the most interesting parts of the season.. building up hope for the coming season.
Will Geelong delist some of those players like Playfair, Gardiner and McCarthy that could still be good options at VFL level. Is Kent Kingsley the sort of player that could dominate in the VFL the way Aaron Edwards has in 2006?
