Just on 10:00...time to get a move on and head for MC Labour Park.aka Optus Oval...Princes Park....John Elliotville The weather outside looks crap....very windy....who will this favour??? Hope the gane gets a good crowd We'll be there on the city side wing... Zebras....going for a 3peat....who would have thought that! In a few hours time we'll see if that will eventuate GO ZEBRAS...

Clubs now.

As there has been a fair bit of reminiscing about clubs of the past, I thought it would be good to have a look at where clubs that were once part of the VFA are now. I know that Mordialloc are in Southern Football League Division 1, and Caulfield (in at least a partial form) are in Division 2. Can we identify any others?
With the 130th year of the VFA competition in 2007. I'd love to see the Victorian AFL clubs honour the occasion by wearing their original VFA jumpers during heritage round in the AFL next season... It'd be great to see some of those early jumpers such as Footscrays jumper (similar in layout to Central Districts SANFL jumper... but thinner stripes). But I guess the VFA doesnt really enter into the AFL's thinking much these days :)

Casey V Sandy

Case 13.18.96 defeated by Sandy 18.18.126 Travelled to the new Casey fields complex today... Conditions were freezing....a cold southerley blowing right up the ground...plus rain..plus around 6 centigrade made for as difficult conditions that I've seen for a long time Springvale kicked with the wind in the 1st 1/4 and at 1/4 time scores were either level or Sandy down by a couple of points... Sandy suffered a few injuries and as a result we didn't have anyone on the bench in the last 1/4 Liddell, Poyas, Summers and Rigoni were all unable to play in the last 1/4 so to run out winners made
